A stunning quality block, unmounted mint with full original gum. Both offset impressions are considerably misplaced in relation to the printing on the front of the block.

Bahawalpur, a former feudatory state situated to the west of the Punjab, was briefly independent following the partition of India on 15 August 1947. It then acceded to Pakistan on 3 October of the same year.
This stamp was part of an issue to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Reign of Sadeq Mohammad Khan V.
