Zanzibar 1898 (Jan) "2½" in red on 1a plum, vertical pair showing types 3 and 5 se-tenant, R6-7/1 of the setting, both stamps with variety showing small second "z", SG32, 34.
A fine unmounted mint pair with full original gum. The lower stamp shows small gum tone, which is immaterial to overall very fine and fresh appearance.
A rare and desirable piece, especially in unmounted mint condition, which is hardly ever seen.
