A very fine unused imperforate left hand marginal example lettered 'MA' printed in black on thick soft white card showing part marginal inscription.
These penny blacks were specifically printed for the second world stamp exhibition held in Paris in 1867 between 1 April to 3 November. Blocks of 20 were cut from the sheets for display.
Very scarce in such fine condition with marginal inscription.
