Zanzibar 1895-96 2a6p yellow-green, type 1 overprint on India, horizontal pair, SG8j. The right stamp includes the error "Zanzidar" (with second "z" and "d" both normal), from Setting 1 (= Hall "D"). R4/6 (second state).
A brilliant quality example with original gum. A superb item, the finer of just two genuine unused examples of the error recorded in private hands, and unique in this desirable and very striking se-tenant form.
Most likely the only chance you will get to own this major rarity and delightful to see surviving in such beautiful condition.
