A superb quality upper right marginal block of twelve (4x3), ERROR IMPERFORATE vertically. Remarkably unmounted mint condition with full original gum. Shows typical light even toning which is usual for this issue.
Undoubtedly the largest known multiple of this error and one of the great rarities of Chinese philately.
The Dowager Empress stamps were the very first commemorative stamps issued by China. They were issued to celebrate the 60th Birthday of the Dowager Empress, one of the most powerful women in the history of China.
