Great Britain 1900 1s green & carmine (Board Of Education) Official, SG082.
A very fine used example neatly cancelled to order by a small part circular date stamp at the top right, most pleasingly, leaving a clear portrait.
An exceptional used example by all accounts.
The Queen Victoria stamps for the Board of Education were not issued until after the death of the Queen. They were issued at the same time as the King Edward VII stamps on 19 February 1902.
Accompanied with a 2012 Philatelic Traders' Society (PTS) Certificate of Authenticity.
