Niger Coast 1894 (MY 22) O.H.M.S. cover (with 'N.C.P./ (Arms)/OPOBO VICE CONSULATE' embossing on flap) from Opobo to London, franked at 2½d rate by 1894 '½' on left half of 1d dull blue, bisect provisional, and 1892-94 2d grey-green and carmine, tied by 'OPOBO' squared circle, with red 'PAID /LIVERPOOL /BR.PACKET' entry circular date stamp at lower left (25 JUN 94). Red London arrival backstamp, SG57.
A wonderful cover, one of only four recorded with this provisional (120 issued), and this is the unique first day usage.
