CHINA 1932-34 Martyrs of the Revolution, Peking printing 40c orange, SG420a.
A stunning block of 9, with centre stamp showing major re-entry with much of the design doubled, particularly visible in the 'sun' above Gen Hsing's head. Fresh unmounted mint with full original gum and vibrant colour. A quite astonishing find!
A very scarce and interesting piece of Chinese philately and the first time we have handled.
The Stanley Gibbons catalogue value is £600.
