Very fine unmounted mint, with full original gum example with emerald (Ladies dress) omitted, offered with normal for comparison.
The missing colour affects the bottom of the basket-carrying lady's dress and the soldiers' tunics.
A scarce QEII stamp error, which appears very reasonably priced in the context of its rarity. Pierron records only a maximum possible 300 mint examples. Whilst evidence indicates three sheets of 100 stamps were affected by this error, it is considered unlikely the three sheets were discovered intact. As such, the number of surviving examples is likely to be much lower.
