Great Britain 1840 "POST PAID" House of Commons wrapper. Superb example of this scarce privilege wrapper with original contents sent from London to Dunfermline neatly cancelled ba a crisp strike of a red London Crown "Paid" datestamp for JY.30.1840. with a manuscript "1d" alongside. Backstamped by an Edinburgh transit cds for AU.1.1840. The printed contents are a Bill for "The more effectual prevention of frauds and abuses committed by Weavers, Sewers and other Persons". Wonderful quality and very rare to find with original contents.
