India 1908 (July 21st) composite stamp-size artist's essay for the 1902-11 KEVII 10r (issued in 1909) SG144
Adopted design in green and carmine, the frame and vignette each separately printed by a semi-photographic process on highly surfaced paper with endorsement at lower left. minor marks on the surround, still very fine condition. A unique and wonderful essay of the highest importance. Ex De La Rue archives (RL 14/3/79, lot 73).
