Superb provenance
Many of the strands come from the famed racing collection of Michael Tanner – the acclaimed racing writer and historian. They feature in the smaller of the two albums, containing approx. 35 horses. Tanner acquired the hairs directly from the trainers, owners or custodians involved or pulled them in person. He also acquired some from the celebrated collector Ray Goddard.
The larger album was compiled by a young racing enthusiast in the 80s and 90s. It contains approx. 65 horses, with pictures. He mainly compiled the collection through British, Irish and US stud farms.
As each display is custom-made to order, the delivery window is approximately 14 days from the date of purchase.
