Great Britain 1998 26p British Land Speed Record Holders error, SG2060Eb.
A superb unmounted mint, with full original gum, top marginal strip of four with rosine ("2" from face value) omitted from the second stamp and a partial omission on the third.
The error of missing colour which results in the loss of "2" from the value occurred on the 4th column of several sheets. Some examples have rosine (the value) completely missing while others show one of the figures that make up the value missing.
A scarce QEII error. Pierron records only circa 17 mint examples.
The stamp features Sir Henry Segrave's Sunbeam from his first Land Speed Record in 1926.
