North Borneo Labuan 1904 (Dec) 4c on 50c maroon, type 19 surcharge, horizontal pair, ERROR SURCHARGE DOUBLE, with the right stamp showing only the 's' of the second impression at left (as a result of sideways misplacement), SG136a.
A fine mint example with large part original gum. Typical slight gum toning (and right stamp with small stain on reverse) but a spectacular and rare multiple.
The unusual error comes from columns 9-10 of the one sheet of 50 that existed. A very rare error.
