North Borneo 1895-97 18c black and deep green Postage Due, perforations 14½-15, horizontal type D1 local overprint from first overprinting, ERROR OVERPRINT INVERTED, SGD10a.
A fine used example, neatly cancelled by part circular date stamp. Ragged perforations at top, which is fairly common for this issue, but spectacular quality nonetheless.
Very rare error as only one sheet originally existed with much fewer surviving examples. Used examples are scarcer than mint.
