Audrey Hepburn began her acting career as a chorus girl in the London’s West End during the late 1940s. Her breakout came in 1951, when she was cast as the lead in Gigi – a hugely successful play on Broadway.
A career in film followed, including Roman Holiday (1953), Sabrina (1954) and Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961). My Fair Lady, released in 1964, features one of her finest performances as cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle.
