Bahamas 1912-19 5s pale dull purple and deep blue, watermark MCA, upper marginal horizontal strip of 4 from the junction of the panes in the later printing (two panes of 60) showing plate numbers '1' (left pane R1/6) and '2' (right pane R1/1) se-tenant, SG88a.
A fine mint positional piece with original gum. Folded to left of interpane margin causing some separation, which has been sensibly reinforced, but spectacular and very rare in this form.
