Batum British Occupation 1920 (17 June) registered "Lauber" cover to Switzerland, franked by 1919 (27 Nov) 15r on 1k orange x 2 with type 5 surcharges respectively in black, SG20, 20a.
The cover is tied by individual strikes of '17 6.20' circular date stamps, with red registration cachet at lower left, and Bern arrival backstamp (14 VII 20).
The surcharge stamps are scarce with only 1,200 issued (orange) and 1,400 (red).
Particularly rare to find these stamps on cover, and a most attractive piece of postal history.
