Canada 1950 1c to 4c (both colours) Officials, range of 78 different (!) corner plate blocks of 4, comprising 1c x 14 (sets of 4 from plates 1, 2 and 5, plus upper left examples from plates 4 and 6), 2c sepia x 8 (sets of 4 from plates 1 and 2), 2c olive-green x 12 (sets of 4 from plates 3, 4 and 7), 3c purple x 22 (sets of 4 from plates 3, 4, 8 and 10, plus three each from plates 6 and 7), 4c carmine-lake x 14 (sets of 4 from plates 4, 8 and 9, plus lower left examples from plates 6 and 11), and 4c vermilion x 8 (sets of 4 from plates 17 and 18), SG178/83.
One of the 1c blocks is cancelled-to-order, and two of the 2c sepia blocks with original gum, otherwise all others are remarkably in unmounted mint condition with full original gum. The vast majority are condition grade "very fine to superb", and only the odd trivial blemish seen (bends, minor marks).
An amazing collection which would be almost impossible to assemble today, arranged on 4 stock cards.
