Great Britain 1867 2d Paris Exhibition Proof Plate 9, DP49b.
A very fine unused four margin imperforate example lettered 'GE', printed in blue on thick soft white card.
Very scarce, only one sheet of 240 were originally printed.
The April 1867 Paris Exhibition Proofs were taken from the 2d plate 9 on soft white card imperforate. These were specifically printed for the Paris Stamp Exhibition where blocks of 20.
