A very fine double rate cover to Singapore bearing a 2s pale blue and a 6d grey Plate 14, neatly cancelled by London duplexes for 'MR.3.1876'.
Backstamped with a Singapore arrival circular date stamp for 'AP.2.1876'. Routed via Brindisi then carried by P&O steamers "Baroda", "Cathay" and "Gwalior" via Alexandria, Suez and Galle.
A most attractive and very scarce franking.
