Great Britain 1884 5s rose (Blued Paper), SG176.
A very fine used example lettered 'IA', neatly cancelled by a crisp Dingwall circular date stamp for 'JY.18.1884'.
The 5 shilling rose is one of the most instantly recognisable Queen Victorian surface printed stamps and is notoriously difficult to find on blued paper. The later issue on white paper is much easier to find and of significantly less value.
Accompanied with a 2007 Brandon Certificate of Authenticity.
