Justin Bieber became a global sensation in 2008, when a record executive discovered videos of him performing his self-penned songs on YouTube. His debut record, My World 2.0, was released in 2010. Since then he has become one of the biggest one of the biggest pop stars on the planet.
In February 2011, teen sensation Justin Bieber cut off his famous locks.
TV personality Ellen Degeneres tweeted "All I want for my birthday is a lock of Justin Bieber's hair".
Bieber was happy to oblige. Degeneres sold the hair on Ebay for $40,668, with the proceeds going towards her favourite charity, The Gentle Barn. The hair was purchased by the Golden Palace Casino and now forms part of their travelling museum of weird and wonderful merchandise.
Justin donated the rest of the hair to his favourite charity, Pencils of Promise. They in turn contacted Paul Fraser Collectibles.
We acquired it for a considerable charitable donation.
The hair is presented in a plastic container which has been initialled by Justin Bieber himself. There are approximately 200 one inch hairs in total.
Without doubt a unique and highly collectable piece of Justin Bieber merchandise.
