Fine mint imperforate pair error with large part original gum. The perforations are slightly ragged at the left, but still much above average condition.
A rare and attractive error.
The island of Labuan off the northern coast of Borneo was ceded to Great Britain by the Sultan of Brunei in December 1846. Stamps from North Borneo were used and overprinted Labuan.
