The Gambols first appeared in British tabloid the Daily Express in 1950. Husband and wife George and Gaye have been butting heads for almost 70 years. On creator Barry Appleby’s death in 1996, his friend Roger Mahoney took over the strip. It 1999 it moved to the Mail on Sunday and has stayed there ever since.
This is an original work by Barry Appleby for his much-loved strip The Gambols.
