Bonhams' Veteran Motor Cars and Related Automobilia sale this Friday, October 30, will showcase a set of cars from a completely different world.

Highlights include a 1902 Panhard-Levassor Type A Rear Entrance Tonneau. A two cylinder model, it is capable of 7hp and regarded as one of the most reliable cars of its era.
The Panhard-Levassor is from the collection of famed Dutch collector M M H Lips, and is estimated at £120,000-150,000.
Meanwhile, the 1901 Argyll 5hp Spindle Seat Rear Entrance Tonneau also comes with a distinguished reputation, for its ghost-like silence and responsiveness. It is valued at £90,000-110,000.

Entirely different to both of these is a Hurtu Dos-à-dos, sporting a high, flat roof and horizontal steering wheel.
Its style is reminiscent of a horse drawn carriage without a horse, with an engine which generates just 3.5hp. This model took part in the first Concours d'Élégance in Oporto in 1993.
The sale will be held at New Bond Street in London, featuring nearly 200 lots of automobilia from the era and some classic, penny farthing-style bicycles.
