A Tiffany Studios Dragonfly lamp sold for $87,500 at Doyle New York on September 23, beating its valuation of $70,000 by 25%.
The lot was deaccessioned from Boston's Museum of Fine Art.

Claire Driscoll, who headed the studio's design department in the early 1900s, was responsible for the look of the piece.
Last year a Tiffany Wisteria lamp sold for $1.5m at Sotheby's New York.
