Madrid's Fundacion Juan March presents an exhibition centred around Pablo Picasso's La Minotauromachie from July 17-August 31.
|
La Minotauromachie (1935) is described as a principal work of the graphic production of Picasso, and is part of the permanent collection of the foundation. It will be joined by 15 prints from Picasso's lauded Suite Vollard, each of which is dedicated to the figure of the minotaur.
Also included are all issues of the surrealist journal Minotaure (1933-1939), as well as books, photographs and ephemera.
Paul Fraser Collectibles is currently selling an autographed postcard from Picasso, which depicts his Absinthe Drinker.
