The Outsiders and Others (1939), his first published story collection, was released two years after he died.
It was printed by Arkham House, set up by two of his friends specifically to get his work out.
This is one of the ultra-rare first edition copies of the book.
It’s expected to sell for around $2,500-3,500 ahead of a May 16 sale at Swann Auction Galleries in New York.
