The prestigious title of Best of Show at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance has gone to a 1934 Packard 1108 Twelve Dietrich Convertible Victoria.

It is the only example of the 35,000 Packard Twelves produced in the 1930s to feature custom coachwork by Raymond Dietrich, reports the LA Times. It arrived at the August 18 event following a two-year restoration.
"The Packard Twelve is considered by many to be one of the finest automobiles produced by Packard and one of the most significant creations of the Classic Era," said the organisers on the official website.
It is the second time the car's owners, New Jersey's Joseph and Margie Cassini III, have taken the title. They won in 2004 with a 1938 Horch 853A Erdmann & Rossi Sport Cabriolet.
