An Aston Martin DB6 Volante convertible is to cross the block at Bonhams with a valuation of £680,000-760,000 ($1m-1.1m).
It will headline a dedicated Aston Martin sale at the car company's headquarters in Newport Pagnell, UK on May 9.

The lot is among the rarest models produced by Aston Martin in the post-war era and was unveiled at the 1965 London Motor Show. Only 178 were produced.
A contemporary review in Autosport in October 1966 raved: "I have driven most of the Aston Martin models that have been produced, from the racing twin-cam 1½-litre of the 1920s onwards.
"For years my favourite has been the DB3S sports-racer, but now my allegiance is wavering. There can be little doubt that the DB6 is the best Aston yet and it is a credit to British engineering."
Other lots in the sale include a 1961 DB4 series II sports saloon, which carries an estimate of £650,000-750,000 ($910,000-1.1m).
Bonhams comments: "A truly spectacular example of the DB4 that ushered in a new era at Newport Pagnell, this Series II is, arguably, one of the finest examples extant."
