Evita Peron's 1951 Cadillac to star in Goodwood sale

A 1951 Cadillac belonging to Eva "Evita" Peron is set to cross the block at Bonhams.

Evita was first lady of Argentina from 1946 to 1952.

She and her husband were hugely popular due to their emphasis on lifting people out of poverty.

The story of her life was turned into a popular musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

The car is set to provide one of the highlights of Bonhams' Goodwood Members Meeting sale on March 20, with a valuation of £90,000-120,000 ($130,418-173,891).
