But probably the most pressing crisis at the moment is the famine in East Africa, and two of the world's leading hip-hop stars have pitched in.

In a video for the track Otis off their collaborative album Watch the Throne, a Maybach luxury vehicle is 'customised' by Jay-Z and Kanye West. Posted on YouTube on Friday, August 12, it is accompanied by a message:
"The vehicle used in this visual will be offered up for auction. Proceeds will be donated towards The East African Drought Disaster."
The car is 'pimped' to create an open-top door-free version which the pair drive round with some girls.
Jay-Z is also releasing a special edition white T-shirt, emblazoned with lyrics fromhis remix of West's single Power, to benefit the City of Hope (a cancer centre in California).
One of Kanye West's most famous moments was in relation to a disaster - that being Hurricane Katrina.
West went a long way off script in a televised appeal alongside Mike Myers with a scathing attack on what many perceived as a very sluggish response to the disaster by George W Bush's regime. West went so far as to claim that Bush 'doesn't care about black people'.
The then-president described West's outburst as the worst moment of his time in office.
