Chassis 10EX is far from a run-of-the-mill Phantom I Rolls-Royce, but is rather a special experimental model.
Its Barker coachwork was built to test the factory's latest engineering developments, lightweight concepts and performance advancements.
After its extensive test career and repeated trips to Brooklands, UK, the car was used by the factory as a works demonstrator and has enjoyed a very colorful history since, including everything from ownership by prominent collectors to reportedly even being loaned to Lawrence of Arabia.

Not surprising, very few of these experimental Phantom Is remain in existence - and 10EX's offering next month at RM's Salon Prive auction is an opportunity not to be missed.
The auction will take place at Syon Park, London, UK on June 23.
