An 1880 $4 coiled hair stella is set to headline a sale of rare coins at Heritage Auctions.
It's expected to make in excess of $220,000 when it crosses the block on June 4-7 in Long Beach.

The coin was proposed by the US envoy to Austria, John Kasson, as a means of stimulating trade between the two nations. It was designed to be similar in value and looks to the Austrian florin.
However, the cost of the project proved prohibitive and it was abandoned after a handful of coins were produced.
The treasury minted two issues, the flowing hair and the coiled hair - with the latter being the rarer of the two. Only nine specimens are known to exist, with one selling for $2.5m at Bonhams in 2013.
A 1933 $10 eagle is another highlight, with a valuation in excess of $110,000.
It's one of around 30 to 40 surviving pieces.
Heritage comments: "The 1933 Indian eagle was recognized as one of the greatest gold rarities of the 20th century almost from the time of its coinage, and demand for it continues to climb, fueled by a mysterious allure that is unparalleled in ten dollar gold pieces.
"The appearance of an example at public auction, regardless of grade, is a headlining event."
