A pair of Venetian mirrors led an auction of furniture from the Kennedy family's Florida hideaway, at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers.

The lot made $32,000 in the January 23 Property from the Winter White House sale in Palm Beach, beating a $3,000 estimate by 966.6%.
The family would often spend the winter at the property, leading to its nickname.
The auction realised total bids of $484,000. This was significantly higher than anticipated, indicating the fascination that the Kennedy family still inspires.
We have this remarkable photograph signed by JFK, Jacqueline and their children in 1962.
