Premiere Props' upcoming auction is set to be dominated by Michael Jackson's stage-worn glove, but there are a number of fine pieces of film memorabilia to suit every collector.
This is especially true for collectors of Batman memorabilia - perhaps ones annoyed to have missed out on the sale of the Batmobile. In fact there are three particularly attractive pieces for an interested investor.
From Batman Forever (1995) comes The Riddler's (Jim Carey) screen used, hero, fibreglass cane. This is a rare hero cane without the rubber tip, (38 x 8 x 2in) and expected to sell for $5,500-$5,700 (a remarkably precise estimate).

Also dating from Batman Forever (1995) is a particular Batman helmet/mask known as the "Ice Cowl". Worn by Val Kilmer in the film, it was also modified for and used by George Clooney (star of Batman and Robin).
This is one of the few cowls that is attributed to both actors who played Batman. Very rare indeed, it is quite reasonably estimated at $6,000-$6,500.

However, the star attraction is from the original and most critically acclaimed of the three films Batman Returns (1992).
This is Batman's (Michael Keaton) screen worn original hero batsuit from the film directed by Tim Burton.
It is one of the most iconic superhero costumes of all time from the first actor to play Batman in the modern series. This costume includes body suit, gauntlet gloves, cape, cowl and a custom made full mannequin of Michael Keaton.
There is a zipper in the back for easy entry into the full costume. Boots are not original, however they were made from the original moulds. It is very rare to find a costume as complete as this, and the price listing of $42,000-$45,000 reflects its investment-grade status.
The auction takes place in California and online on April 2.
