The handwritten lyrics to David Bowie's The Jean Genie and a Vox guitar that he used will headline a collection of his memorabilia at Bonhams on July 3.

The London Entertainment Memorabilia auction will offer both items with individual estimates of £10,000-15,000 ($16,000-23,000).
They will sell alongside an early contract for David Bowie and John Hutchinson to appear at Ealing College of Technology, which is dated 1969 and is signed by Bowie. It is expected to make £1,200-1,800 ($1,900-2,800).
The lyrics were gifted to the leader of Bowie's New York fan club shortly after the song's release in 1972.
The guitar was purchased for the star in 1971 and featured in an important photograph by Masayoshi Sukita (shown above).
