A lock of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger's hair has been consigned to Bonhams' Entertainment Memorabilia auction in London on July 3.

The lock is valued at £1,500-2,000 ($2,300-3,100) and will be sold to raise money for the UK-based Changing Faces charity.
It was consigned to the sale having recently been returned to Jagger's former girlfriend and model Chrissie Shrimpton, sister of model Jean Shrimpton, who the singer dated at the beginning of his career with the Stones.
The hair was originally taken by Shrimpton's grandmother, who saved it after Chrissie chopped Jagger's locks when the couple stayed at her parents' farm. It is enclosed in an envelope that reads, "Mick Jagger's hair after being washed + trimmed by Chris at Rose Hill Farm.'"
Paul Fraser Collectibles has a huge selection of famous and historical hair for sale, including Sir Paul McCartney, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.
