Clothing and handwritten lyrics belonging to Sir Paul McCartney have been withdrawn from a sale at Omega Auctions in Liverpool following a legal challenge by the Beatle.
The lots were due to be auctioned today.

They were allegedly given to Rose Martin, his ex housekeeper, in the 1970s by Linda McCartney - although Sir Paul refutes this claim.
The dedicated Beatles auction will still take place, and features a range of memorabilia from across the band's career, including a piano and a pair of jackets from the 1965 film Help!
We have this striking autographed photo of Paul McCartney for sale.
