One of the images depicts the royal performing a Nazi salute.
It appeared at the Morgan Evans & Co auction following the recent release of images showing Edward performing a Nazi salute along with a young Queen Elizabeth.
Auctioneer Simon Bower explained to the Welsh Daily Post: "It's pure coincidence. It happened to come at the same time as the other story broke.
"As far as I am aware it's a unique item. It's the Duke of Windsor with various dignitaries and they take him down the mine shaft. It was a typical 'PR' visit of the day."
We have this handwritten letter from Wallis Simpson for sale.
