A piece of cake from the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton has sold for £420 ($705) at Mellors and Kirk in Nottingham, UK.
It achieved an increase of 170% on a £150 ($250) high estimate.

Other pieces of wedding cake from the 2011 event have already achieved significant sums, with one making an impressive $4,160 at Julien's Auctions in November last year.
