Monday's deadly Boston marathon bombing left the country reeling. Yesterday (April 18), however, the NHL's Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins announced they are to auction off game-worn jerseys featuring "Boston Strong" and "617" - the Boston area code - patches, to help support those affected by the marathon tragedy.

The auction will take place later today, with all proceeds benefitting The One Fund Boston.
Earlier today, a suspect of the Boston marathon bombing was killed in a shootout with Massachusetts authorities. The second suspect is believed to be on the run, pursued by police, at the time of writing.
