Elvin Hayes' 1977-1978 Washington Bullets NBA championship ring is to auction at Nate D Sanders with a starting bid of $100,000, with the online sale running until May 29.
Despite a slow start to the tournament, the Bullets finished on top - defeating the Seattle Supersonics in the finals by four games to three.

Hayes is one of the top 50 NBA players of all time, with a scoring average of 21 points per game and a rebound average of 12.5.
He played one of his top scoring games during the 1977 season, scoring an impressive 47 points against the Golden State Warriors.
The sale also features Hayes' Hall of Fame induction ring, which will start at $45,000.
Bidding on an 18k gold Wimbledon tennis medal presented to Harold Mahoney in 1896 starts at $80,000.

It commemorates Mahoney's victory over Wilfred Baddeley and displays two crossed rackets on the obverse, while the reverse reads "1896, Mr. H.S Mahony, Lawn Tennis Champion".
A Wimbledon medal presented to Arthur Ashe in 1971 sold for $21,000 at Nate D Sanders in February last year.
