Christie's will host this year's Hospices de Beaune Burgundy wine auction in Beaune, France from November 18-20.

The annual charity sale will feature 596 barrels of wine from the Burgundy region, an increase of 21 on the number consigned last year.
That's unexpected, as poor weather has meant this has not been a bumper year for wine making in the region.
The President's Barrel (the proceeds of which go to charity, ensuring it usually attracts the top bids) will be a Corton Bressandes Grand Cru.
